Province of Ancona: ongoing-service for the delivery of infested and specified wood* from the municipality of Ostra and from the municipalities within the area delimited for ALB

We inform that the service for the transport of wood infested with Anoplophora glabripennis Motschulsky (ALB), present within the demarcated area of the Ancona Province is temporarily suspended.

In the locality of Santa Maria Apparve di Ostra (AN) the free delivery service of infested and specified (*) wood, originating in the province of Ancona demarcated area for Anoplophora glabripennis Motschulsky (ALB), is still provided.

The conditions for the service are:

  • Free wood collection, transported by the appointed operator at the owner or owner’s care and expense, deriving from pruned plants of 'specified' (*) botanical genera, planted in the demarcated area of the Province of Ancona.
  • Free wood collection, originating from pruned infested plant, transported on closed tarpaulin vehicles by the owner or owner’s care and expense, originating from pruned infested plants.

 

* Host “specified” botanical genera of Anoplophora glabripennis Motschulsky (ALB):
Acer spp. (maple), Aesculus spp. (horse chestnut), Alnus spp.(alder), Betula spp.(birch), Carpinus spp. (hornbeam), Cercidiphyllum spp. (katsura), Corylus spp. (hazel), Fagus spp. (beech), Fraxinus spp.(ash), Koelreuteria spp. (koelreuteria), Platanus spp. (plane tree), Populus spp. (poplar), Salix spp. (willow), Tilia spp. (linden) and Ulmus spp. (elm).
